MUMBAI: Padma Shri Manoj Kumar - Legendary Thespian of India has been felicitated by World Book of Records, London with WBR Golden Era of Bollywood honour for being a Legendary Actor and for his unparalleled contribution to Indian Cinema through highlighting patriotic, social, cultural feelings in Hindi Cinema. Earlier, Padma Vibhushan Dilip Kumar (Legendary Actor) was also felicitated with such an honour. The Certificate of Honour was presented to Shri Manoj Kumar Jee by Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Sharma (Educationist), Shri Santosh Shukla, Supreme Court, Advocate (President, World Book of Records) and Mr. Usman Khan (Vice President, World Book of Records, India). On this occasion, Smt. Shashi Goswami and Shri Kunal Goswami were present. Significantly, being an Indian actor, who is among the most honored and popular stars in film history. You are known for acting in and directing films with patriotic themes, and have been given the nickname Bharat Kumar. In 1992, you were honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India. India's highest award in cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, was bestowed upon him in 2015. You are remembered for versatile performances in films like Hariyali Aur Raasta, Woh Kaun Thi, Himalaya Ki God Mein, Do Badan, Upkar, Patthar Ke Sanam, Neel Kamal, Purab Aur Paschim, Beimaan, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Dus Numbri, Sanyasi and Kranti. On being recognized by World Book of Records, London (UK), Shri Manoj Kumar was congratulated by Shri Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India), Shri Uddhav Thackeray (Chief Mister - Maharashtra), Smt.
