MUMBAI: Stand-up Comedian Kapil Sharma of Mumbai (Maharashtra) India has been honoured by World Book of Records, London being one of the most viewed stand-up comedians in India and abroad and promoting animal rights. Shri Kapil Sharma has been bestowed with the certificate of honour by International Singer Daler Mehndi (Brand Ambassador, World Book of Records), Shri Santosh Shukla, Supreme Court, Advocate (President, World Book of Records), Mr. Usman Khan (Music Director and Adjudicator, World Book of Records - Mumbai). On this occasion, Dr. Rajeev Shrivastav (President, World Book of Records - Maharashtra) and Sakshi Holkar (Singer) were present. On this occasion, Shri Shukla said that according to survey of many countries the natural quality of humour of Shri Kapil Sharma is unique and students would do thesis of Ph.D on that soon and it would be a great honour for the country as well.  Significantly, Shri Kapil Sharma is Standup Comedian Mumbai (Maharashtra) of India was born in Amritsar, Punjab. He studied at the Hindu college in Amritsar. He rose to fame after winning the comedy reality television show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007, for which he won a cash prize. He had previously worked in the Punjabi show Hasde Hasande Ravo on MH One channel.He participated in Sony's Comedy Circus and went on to win six seasons of the show. On being recognized by World Book of Records, London UK, Shri Kapil Sharma was congratulated by Shri Virendra Sharma (Member of Parliament, England), Dr. Diwakar Sukul (Chairman, WBR, London), Shri Santosh Shukla (President, WBR) and other dignitaries from international scenario.
