Vivek Tankha (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Member of Rajya Sabha) gets felicitated with Certificate of Commitment by Global Pledge Campaig

INDORE: Shri Vivek Tankha (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Member of Parliament- Rajya Sabha) of Madhya Pradesh, India has been honoured by Global Pledge Campaign of World Book of Records, UK for serving humanity and dedicated activities in Coronavirus pandemic. He was felicitated with a Certificate of Commitment by Shri Santosh Shukla, Advocate (President, World Book of Records). On this occasion, Shri Chandra Shekhar Raikwar were present. Significantly, Shri Tankha was one of the youngest Advocate Generals of Madhya Pradesh (16 February 1999 to 15 November 2003) he was Designated Senior Advocate by the Full Court of the High Court in 1999. He was offered a Judgeship by the bench of M. P. High Court in April 1998 but he sought forgiveness for personal reasons. He was also the first lawyer from Madhya Pradesh to have been appointed Additional Solicitor General of India. He had played a major role in resolving disputes between Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh after the latter was created in November 2000. Under his pioneering motivation and guidance the foundation has been providing humanitarian services not even in Madhya Pradesh but also in the rest of the country in the Coronavirus pandemic. WBR bestows certificates of Commitment to people and organizations for espousing the cause of humanity in the Coronavirus pandemic. On being felicitated by the World Book of Records, London, Shri Vivek Tankha, Senior Advocate was congratulated by members of the Central Working Committee of World Book of Records.
